Several years ago he retired from active lite and had been en- joying good health up to ‘three months ago, Ha was stricken with a heart attack during the Christ- mas season and since then hurl been in failing health. Although not unexpected. his death came flS a grcat shot-k to his family and a host c-f friends who sincerely mourn hi: passing.

The deceased was n member of L'Assomption Society and also a past director of St. Paufs Credit Union.

Besides his widow itc leaves to mourn the _ followivtig sons and daughters: Henry W. Wedge, Town Councillor and acting Mayer: Meddius and Benjamin, nil of Summerslde and Percy. manager" of Stcatlman‘: store, Baihursi, N. 13.; Beatrice. Mrs. Timmie Arsen- ault at home. Two sisters, Mrs. Joseph Arsenauit. St. John, N. 5.. 'and Mrs. Matilda DesRoches of Summcrside and one brother, Jos- eph, also of Summcfslde also sur- rivc. as well as fourteen grantl~ children all living in the Town.
