The harness-racing club operat- ed out of the Sports Centre last year and with the installation of flood lights the track was one of the busiest in the Marltlmes.

The club did not intend to oper- ate this year. and the track was put up on tender earlier this month but no bids were received. Then now. is considerable speculation that the turf club will take over operations again, although some of the top trotters and pacers have left for other tracks.
