A hearty vote of thanks to the committee was moved by Mrs. Gus- sie Bryant and seconded by Miss Myrtle White. This was followed by the club meeting. During the business period a bouquet of flow- ers was presented to Mrs. Beatrice Lapthorn as it token of the esteem of the members.

Mrs. Lnpthorn was the first pres- ident of the club. An invitation was extended by Miss Mabel Worth to hold the April meeting at her home.

After the business on hand was dealt with the meeting was brought to a close and films were shown, which were kindly loaned by the National Film Board.

Prayers were offered by Mrs. Louis Herring. Mrs. W. White. Mrs. W. Harris. Mrs. S. shai-am and Mrs. Roy Brooks.

Death Sunday Of Mrs. William Creed

The death occurred yesterday at the home of her daughter. Mrs. Alex Blue. Little Sands. of Mrs. William Creed in her 88th year. The late Mrs. Creed was the former Mary Jane Turner of Al- bion. Her husband predeceased her a number of years ago. She leaves to mourn her passing one son Victor of Oregon, California. Also surviving are four daugh- ters, Mary, Mrs. William Conrad, Detroit, Michigan: Clara, Mrs. Charles Irving, Tennessee, U.S.A.: Lillian, Mrs. Alcx Blue, Little Sands with whom Mrs. Creed re- sided, and Laura, Mrs. Rowan Si.-ncabaugh, Pembroke.

The funeral service will he held on Tiiesday afternoon from the Sturgeon Baptist Church.
