SURVIVE SINKING -- Both Prince Edward Island survivors from the Corvette Weyburn are young and have been 1n the Royal Canadian Naval Volunteer Reserve for about a yea-r. Both are able sea- men. Thomas Alexander Clair of

Montague, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack clalr worked around the town before lie enlisted. He is believed to have trained for a. time at Char- lottetown before going to sea. The other survivor, Horace Richard Beck, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ezra Beck of Murray Harbor also work- ed around his home community before joining the navy. He, too. trained at, Charlottetown, it was believed.
