At 3:30 P.M. on 'lhurs. October 19 the delegatim of ten Engineers from UPEI arrived at Keddy's Motor Inn, Frederictm, 19.3., for the second annual Atlantic Student Engineers Calgress cmvention. The confer— ence was hosted by U.N.B. Engineers who had everything carpletely «organized at the motel. We soon settled in and met the bulk of'the other delegates at the pre— banquet cocktail hour. 'lhe opening banquet went smoothly with ample supplies of good food, good wine and short speeches by the guests. The rest of the evening was spent socializing, finding the Cosmos Disco and singing bilingual versions of the "Engin— eer's Song". (We are, we are . . . . . .), '

were represented at every one. All lectures were very well presented and informative, especially the six workshops on Saturday afternoon. Some of the topics incluied: Planning and Constructicn, Bio—Engineering, Recycling Solid Wastes and ‘Ihe Environment.

After supper and a short nap (well needed) we were ready to party again. It was the last night of the cOnference and we intend- ed to make it a night to

to U.N.B. again for a party at the Social Club, but we got wind of a better time at the men's residence and away we went. We landed in the middle of a full-fledged toga party (with Ole) . Throughout the course of the evening all our male delegates gradually donned their own togasl!

'me final morning of the conference was dedicated to recommendations and resolutions that the Congress should take into consideration for future years and conventions. The agenda of the national convention to be held at Dalhousie January 3 to 6 was presented and discussed. We hope to be able to send our share of delegates to represent UPEI.
