member of the student body; It seems that a member of the_Radio was fired because the Radio Exective had received complaits about his program. received complaints about his pro— gram. He was alleged to have not " played what the listening audience wanted to hear and to have made un- complimentery remarks about the way the radio was being run. The Stud- ent Union were of the opinion the exective of the Radio were within their right as the heads of that giganization to fire the DJ. Me
on the other hand felt it was up to the members of the radio staff to decide whether the DJ in question should be fired or given a sever .

The Lady Panthers, last season s A.W.I.A.A. Intermediate Champs.with
a 15-0 record,have their starting five returning to this years squad. Returning for her second season in a Panther unif form is last years M.V.P Rose King.Rose,a 5'8" ‘ center,played well for the Panthers last season being second in scoring and first in rebounds. She is expected to be strong again this year with her experience.. Joining Rose is another Charlottetown native. Lynn Crosby.UPEI s outstanding female athlete of last year. Lynn led the Panthers scoring and all indi- cations are that she wil continue and increase her scoring output this year.A1so returning this year is the former captain Margaret MacDonald.An excellent ball handler,Margaret quarterbacks the offence and keeps the opposition on their toes with her good driving and scoring power.0ther members of last year s starting lin last years starting line are Nancd Berrigan and Donalda MacDonaldaNancy, a guard from Ch town,pla ysra steaty heads up gam e with a good shooting' and scoring ability. On Shn. night Dec;12,a Christmas Concert will be held at Confederation Center, featuring the P.E.I.Symphony, theU.P. E,I,Chorus and members of other choirs in the city. '
