Although short and cleaverly written it is not performed to any great ex- tent. It was used as the basis for the musical Boys from Syracuse which shared successfully on Broadway and as a movie. Hugh Gaitskell, also leading his party for the first time in an election, voiced his determination to “attack again and again until we win.”
