& Immigration, the Hanourable Robert Andras, has announced that the Job Creation Branch Opportunities for YOuth Program has approved for funding fourteen projects

in Prince Edward Island

for the summer of 1975.

These fourteen projects are creating a total of 85 jobs for.832 manweeks and will involve a variety of

activities ranging from cultural awareness to organized recreation.

The suc— cess of this committee will depend on the co-operation it receives from members of the university community. The project will be invol~ ved with the following things:

1) a week-long training ‘ session dealing with inform- ation on\legislation and agencies set up to deal with individual concerns;

2) organizing local core groups of people interested in Civil liberties; * 3) providing information

to prople on various matters including landlord-tenants problems,arrest and search, consumer and labor standards etc.and various civil liber- ties issues;

4) Helping individuals
