Deputy Minister Schreiber pointed out that the town of North Sydney had agreed to pay rights of way ‘or a five-mile extension to that town and down to the water frunt. In reply it was shown that the town bad granted right of way to the town limits, but that the preparation for through traffic from New- foundland was new and unlooked for, the situation requiriag to be deali with by national authority. Mr. Blair assured his visitors that the extension woald be pushed forward at‘gpce and gave them to under; stand that the right of way would be paid for by the country.
