"Oh. Fran? Sorry I missed her." The regret. sounded perfunctory.

"I told them that you might be in at any moment, as the Grey Duck was back at the wharf. but they could not wait any longer. This Mr. Gorham seems a very agreeable man."

The collection and sending cl old woollens for blankets was dis- cussed, and it was decided to re- port at the next meeting the amount that could be gathered.

Literature was received for the Red Cross collection and it was decided to ask Bruce Clark. George McKay and Ivan Henderson to collect and the teacher volunteered to look after the collecting on the Kerry Town Road. Collection was taken and the meeting closed with "The King". Miss Vivian W005- side entertained with a "Menu Making" contest. after which the hostess and her committee served a dainty lunch.
