888 ' An Act to constitute two Polling Divisions in the Fifth Electoral District of Prince County. [Passed 19th April, 1809.] E it enacted by the Administrator of the Government, Council and Assembly, as follows :—

I. From and after the passing of this Act, instead of one Polling Division, as now estab- lished, there shall be two Polling Divisions, in and for the Fifth Electoral District of Prince County, and they shall be known as the First and Second Polling Divisions of said District, and the First Polling Division shall comprise and include all the Eastern part of Township Number Seventeen, commencing at the Creek on the South side of Green’s Mill, and following the road leading from said Mill, to John I-Iaszard’s, crossing the Charlottetown road; thence following the \Vestern boundary of the farm lately occupied by Stephen McNeill, to the shore of Richmond Bay ; and the Poll in such first Polling Division, shall be held at or near the Drill Shed, at Summerside.

II. The other, or second polling division for the said District, shall comprise and include all other parts of said Township Number Seventeen, not comprised and included within the boun- daries or description of the first polling division, asset forth and described in the last preceding section of this Act, and the poll for the polling divisiOn in thissection mentioned, shall be held at "or near the County Jail, at St. Eleanor’s.

iIII. All and singular, the provisions and re- - gulalions of the Act of the Nineteenth Victoria, Chapter Twenty-one, intitulet “ An Act to in- crease the number of members to serve in the General Assembly, and to consolidate and amend the ilaVvs relating to Elections ;” and of the Act of .the 'I‘Wenty-fourth Victoria, Chapter Thirty- four, intituled “ An Act to repeal certain parts of the Act consolidating the Election Laws, and to make other provisions in lieu thereof ;” and of the Act of the Twenty-ninth Victoria, Chapter Ten, intituled “ An Act to amend the laws re- lating Island in force, relating to the election of mem- bers for the General Assembly,” shall, when applicable, apply to, and be held to be in force with regard to‘candidates, electors, and all other persons voting or acting under, or claiming the benefitof the provisions of the said recited Acts, as fully and effectually to all intents and pur- poses, as if the said several provisions and regu- lations cf the said recited Acts, were contained in, anclformed part of this Act.

IV. Any part of the said recited Acts, or of any other Act of the General Assembly of this Island, relating to elections of members, as aforesaid, inconsistent with this Act, shall be and the same is hereby repealed.

An Act to incorporate the Trustees of the

Baptist Church of Summerside.

[Passed April 19, 1869.] IIEREAS, it is desirable for the efficient

t t management of the temporal affairs of the Baptist Congregation of Summerside that its Trustees be an incorporate body : Be it therefore enacted by the Administrator of the Government, Council and Assembly, as fol- lows, that is to say :—

I. That Isaac I-Iowat, Archibald Burns, James Selliker, Dimock Archibald and Stephen Baker, and their successors in office, shall be and are hereby constituted and declared to be- a body corporate, under and by the name of the “ Trustees of the Baptist Church of Sum- merside,” and they and their successors in office shall have a common seal, with power to break, change and alter the same, from time to time, as may be found requisite, and shall be in law capable of suing, pleading, defending and answering, and of being sued, impleaded, defended and answered unto in all Courts of J udi- cature, in all manner of actions, and also of contracting and being contracted with relative to lands and funds of said corporation, and the other purposes for which it is constituted, as hereinafter declared, and may establish, put in execution, alter or repeal such bye-laws and re- gulations as shall not be contrary to the con- stitution and laws of this Island, or the pro- visions of this Act, as may appear to the said corporation necessary and expedient for the interest thereof, and, for these purposes, ap- point their own chairman and other officers, three members being a quorum in all matters to be done and disposed of by the said cor- poration. -

II. When any vacancy in the Trustees shall arise, by death, resignation or otherwise, then the minister of the said church shall give notice that a congregational meeting of the said church shall be held, on ' a given day, for the election of one or more Trustees to fill the vacancy or vacancies, and the said notice shall be given in the said church of Summerside, immediately after divine service, on a Sabbath at least ten days previous to the said meeting, and the choice of said trustee or trustees shall
