Your decision to retain a copy of the 2006/07 UPEI Student Union Budget following the Council meeting on Sunday, March 11" has prompted discussion among the UPEISU Executive Council. Under the direction of Council, distribution of this working document is not permitted.

All members of the UPEI student body are not only welcome, but are encouraged to make an appointment with the Vice President Finance to review the Budget at any time. However, it is our position, and has been that of Council, that the distribution of this document would make it subject to possible misinterpretation. Furthermore, the Budget is a working document that is subject to change at any time. Discussions with our legal counsel and our accountants have confirmed the foundation of this concern.
