Wall, a fine-looking, robust fellow, very black, seld for $1,053. Allen withdrawn ; jno bid. Joe, old and feeble, brought $390. Penny, quite | black, and with an honest, faithful face, sold with her child for 81250. Jack, round-shouldered, feeb!e-looking and stiff, brought | $690. Here the sale closed, the last negro on the list having | been withdrawn, The auctioneer announced that purchasers | who wished to levve the city that evening could have the papers .| made Gut in season. Last Friday. at the City Hotel, [ saw a |} mother and her infant sold for $1,575. A daughter, fifteen or sixteen years old was then offered, and, though the suctivneer |seid be should prefer to sell her to the same purchaser, wae bid off by another man.
