One ofthe young men who went from Charlottetown with the firs: Canadian contingent to South Africa, and who gave hia life for the !ar- ger freedom of that land, was one of the beat helpers Dr, Barrie, Secretary of the Associations of Canada, bad in his work. Hed the second secretary who went with the secend contingent been able, as was planned, to come to Charlottetown, he would have been received as in other towns, with a royal welcome. Strange Case of Kidney Disease Reported at Smith’sF alls.
Smitn’s Fxius, March 19.—One of the most remarkable cures ever performed by Doudd’s Kidney Pills was that of Mrs. George Barnes, of this town.
