Chatterer the Red Squirrel lsyl Imall person. but he makes a big noise. He has one of the noisest tongues in the Green Forest. Chatterer dearly loves to hear his own voice. He is never happier than when he is scolding some- one. Also, Chatterer has a bad temper which gets the best of rim and makes his tongue be- iome unruly.

It was just more than he could take quietly. He was scold- ing at the top of his voice. That unruly tongue was calling Blai-ky all sorts of bad names. Chatterer was making all kinds of foolish tli'cats. lie had no room in his foolish little head for anything but race because of ii hat happened to him. He forgot that there might be other cars to hear that voice of his. He fairly danced up and driwn on the limb of a tree as he scolded Blacky.

Biacky didnlt mind at all. The truth is. Blacky was enjoying it. The angrier Chatterer became. the more Blacky enjoyed it. There
