-Mr. Reginald Murray returned to his duties at the R. C. A. F. Station, Trenton. Ontario. on Sat- urday, November ist. He had been on leave with his family for the past several weeks.

Mr. and Mrs. Reginald Haslam and Miss Muriel Hasiam, Spring- ileld. Lot 67, were Sunday guests of Misses Louise and Mildred Call- bcck and Mrs. Hasiam's, uncle, Mr. John Stuart, Central Bedeque, on November 2nd.

Mr. Rufus Bagnall, has returned to the home of his son. Mr. Harold Bagnall, Central Bedeque, after spending several months here. Mr, Bagnall has been in poor health for some time.

Bedeque Village welcomes new residentsin the persons of Mr. and Mrs. George Henderson of Fernwood. They have purchased from Mr. Hammond Bowness thc residence he had bought from the Davison Estate and occupied for several years. The Hcndcrsons have had the house completely modernized by installing up-to- date plumbing and electric light- ing as well as nlher improve- ments. Prior to leaving Fernwood relatives and friends tendered the 1-lendcraon family a farewell party extending to them best wishes as they take up residence in Bedeque village, as well as expressing re- gret at losing such esteemed neighbours. Mr. Henderson had carried on successful farming op- erations for many years. His fine farmstead has been purchased by Mr. Cyril MacFarlane of the same community. Bedeque people are pleased to have this estimable couple in their midst.

-A wedding of much interest to friends and relatives here took place in Edmonton. Alberta, on October lat of Miss Jean Perry, R.N., only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ted Perry of 249 Convent St., Summcrside. to Kenneth Lloyd McIntyre, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Sydney McIntyre, of 0kot- oks, Alberta.

The bride is a graduate of Hotel Dieu Hospital, Campbellton, N.B., and previous to her marriage was on staff with the P. C. Hos- pital ln Summersidc.

The marriage ceremony was per- formed by Rev. W. A. Reynolds in St. Joseph's Cathedral in Edmon- ton. Alberta.

The bride chose for her wed- ding a suit of air force blue, with white accessories. -

- Mrs. Alice B. Buchanan, 57, died early Tuesday morning. Octo- ber 21st at her home, 7 Walker St., Concord, NH.

Wife of Stanley A. Buchanan and eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John C. Mllligan of MacNeills Mills, P.E.I., where she was born. she had been It resident of Concord 38 years.

Although in failing health the past several months, the last three at which she was a great sufferer, she bore her suffering with Christ- ian fortitude and in spite of loving tender care, she pssedpeaeefully away to it more beautiful home where there will be no more suffer- ing and pain. Mrs. Buchanan was a member of Baker Memorial Meth- odist Church and.its Women's So- ciety of Christian service. She also held membership in Fidelity liab- ekah Lodge, Capitol Grange and Canton Wildey Auxiliary.

Surviving are her sorrowing hus- band, two sons. John D. and Mur- dock A. Buchanan, and three grandchildren, Thomas. Debra and Nancy Alice, at Concord. N.H., her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John C. Mll- ligan, MscNeiils Mills. P.E. 1., three sisters and six brothers. who all at- tended her funeral, Mrs. Herbert sprague of Concord, N. H.. Mrs. Ib- rey Gilbert of Suncook, N. H., Miss Romayne Mllligan at MwNellls Mills, William Mllligan of Mecanic Falls, Me., David Mllligan at Rum- tort, Me., Roy Mllligan of North- wood, N. H., Edgar Mllligan of MacNeills Mills. P.E.I., Claude Mllligan of Halifax. N. B. and Clar- once Mllligan of saint John. N.B.. and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at Baker Memorial Methodist Church. Rev.
