inspected and graded and carry an inspection certificate.

Applications for enrolment and inspection should bemade immediate ~

Applications for enrolment should be accompanied with the required fee of Two Dollars (82.00) and should include name of horse. breed, age, colour description and registra- tion number, if horse is registered.

' Stallion owners who use horses for service not enrolled or inspected. or in, as not authorised by the Act will be subject to the nstlydﬂlrovislons of the Act. Thank-you Letter From Germany

Following is a letter received by Mrs. E. S. Burleigh. Ellerslie, P. E. I.. from a German girl which shows the appreciation and great need of clothing sent through the overseas relief organization of the churches:

Streesow. 5th Feb., 1950. Dear Sender:

As I ‘have received the shoes that you sent me from the ioreign country, .1 want to thank you for them. My mother was so very glad with them. as they are one great worry less. We are refugees. and have left our home country in 1945. We live here as civilians in very poor circumstances. That Is why we needed the shoes so much as money is scarce. We are with 6 children. have lost our father in the'war and live together with our mother. My school is quite far‘ away so that I leave home at 7:30 in the morning and am at home again at 3 o’clock. That is why I need the shoes so much. and I am very, very thankful for the good deed you did to us.

A United States senator. who-

The senator said the Asian sit- uation will be one or the main topics at the meeting at Acheson with Foreign secretary Bevin and Foreign Minister sciiuman.

Senator Tom Oonnally (Dem. Tex.) said earlier that Acheson and ambassador-at-large Philip Jcssup had made an urgent request to Senators (or increased aid to help Far Eastern countries resist Gom- munism. .
