Mr. Lefurgey epoke briefly, but strongly and clearly, making an excellent inpres- sion upon the electors present, and giving assurance of his success in* the cam- paign.

The Reception Commitiee of Summer~ side deserve great credit for the excellence of all their arrangements. Their guests were evidently delighted, and the immense crowd of people in attendance all had the best opportunity to hearthe speeches that could possibly be afforded.
