. TORONTO, April 24 —(CP)— The Ontario Court of Appeal today res rved Judgment in an brought by the Attorney against the acquittal of Evelyn Dick on a charge of murdering her husband, John, at Hamilton, March 6. 1946. The court, comprised of five Judges, heard argument of counsel for seven hours.

After lengthy legal argument re- volving about the admissibility of statements made to police by Mrs. Dick, W.B. Commons, K.C., sug- gested to the court that one of the Judges might offer a dtucnting opinion so that the matter ~ could be sent to the Supreme Court of Canada.

This suggestion brought smiles from the Judges and Mr. Justice J. E. Laidlaw asked whether a dis- sentiiig opinion was wanted even though the judge giving it thought differently. Mr. Commons did not reply.
