The death occurred at Mount Vernon on August 16th of Mrs. John MacQueen after a painful ill- ness of over two years. All that medical skill and loving hands could do, was done to relieve her suffering but Divine Providence willed otherwise.

The late Mrs. MacQueen was a daughter of the late Archie and Annie Martin of Springton and was In her seventy-third year. .0f her it could truly be said she had many friends and no enemies. She was loved and respected by all who knew her and will be greatly miss- ed, not only in the home but in the community in which she lived. Sbc is/ survived by her husband and one daughter Effie J.
