Bicycle Race And - Amateur Boxing Toiirney Sept. 12th

Entries continue to come in for the 10-mile bicycle road race to be staged here next Friday evening, Sept. i2 and the way things are. shaping up it looks as if the event 1s going to attract one of the most select fields in years.

Reports on fishing conditions and upland game birds were given by game warden Spurgeon Jenkins who also said that the duck pop- ulation was double that of 1946.

A resolution passed in regard to the wholesale netting and jigging of trout recommended that the Provincial Government appoint ad- ditional game wardens to be train- ed t-rider the supervision of game warden Spurgeon Jenkins.
