And the following sums at the disposal of the Government for the following services :

Superintendent of Public Works, seventy— five pounds.

Superintendant of Public Works, for plans and expense of superintendence, two hundred pounds.

Assayer of weights and measures, ten pounds. :

Keeper of Colonial Building, sixty pounds.

Extra services about Colonial Building, thirty pounds.

Education, a sum sufficient.

And a sum of sixty-five pounds to the follow- ing Postmasters, in addition to their allowances by Statute, to be paid out of the amount voted for that purpose, in the proportions respectively herereinafter mentioned :

The Postmaster at Summerside, pounds.

The Postmaster at Georgetown, ten pounds.

The Postmaster at St. Eleanor’s, ten pounds.

The Postmaster at Princetown, five pounds.

The Postmaster at Cascumpec, five pounds.

The Postmaster at Port Hill, five pounds.

The Postmaster at Tignish, five pounds.

The Postmaster at Souris, five pounds.

And a sum sufficient, out of the amount voted for the contingent expenses of the House of Assembly, to pay the Speaker of the House seventydivc pounds, and each member of the House thirty pounds, for their attendance dur- ing the present Session, together with their travelling charges in coming to and returning from the House of Assembly.

President of the Legislative Council, and thirty pounds to each of the members of the said Coun- cil. for their attendance during the present Session, together with their travelling expenses,

as allowed to members of the House of As- sembly, in coming to and returning from the Legislative Council, the same to be paid out of' the amount voted for the Contingent ex- penses of the Legislative Council.

The sum of four thousand pounds at the disposal of the Government for the special service of Roads, Bridges, Wharves and Breakwaters, and part thereof to be expended and apprOpriated as follows, all sums under fifty pounds to be eXpended under the super- intendence of the Road Commissioner for the District: '

King’s County, towards completing the road over Rollo Bay Flats from Campbell’s Beech to the Wharf, thirty pounds.

To repair Black Pond Bridge, thirty pounds.

Bay of Fortune wharf, eleven pounds.

Souris West breakWater,seventy-four pounds eleven shillings.

Souris East breakwater (Knight’s), in ad- dition to the grant of last year, provided a. right of way and a road to the shore be secur- ed to the public, one hundred pounds.

For bridge across Eastern. end of North Lake, twenty-five pounds.

Cardigan Bridge, eighty pounds.

Bridge on new road from Alley’s to Cardigan Bridge on South side of river, fifty pounds.

New Block at Narrow’s Creek wharf, twenty pounds.

Bridge, new road from Narrow Creek to Grand River, thirty pounds.

Cardigan and Georgetown Ferry wharf, North side, in addition to grant of last year, forty pounds.

Portage road wharf at Grand River, thirty- nine pounds one shilling.

To build new Ferry wharf" on South side of Cardigan River from Georgetown, in addition to grant of last year, eighty-six pounds seven shillings.

Breakwater for Saint Peter’s Harbor and beacons, under the superintendence of Martin Mclnnis and John A. McLaine, Esquires, one hundred pounds.

McLaine’s wharf, North side of‘ Saint Peter’s Bay, twenty pounds.

Hard of the Bay wharf, twenty pounds.

Dingwell’s wharf, Lot forty-one, twenty
