MONTAGUE — The death occurred at the Kings County Memorial Hospital Oct. 13. of John Roderick MacKenzie. 70. of Lower Montague.

r. MacKenzie was born in Heatherdale. Feb. 28, 1894. the son of the late Roderick Mac- Kenzie and Mary Gordon. and moved to Lower Montague at an early age. He was wide- ly known in this section of the province. He successfully en- gaged in farming for many years. He was an active par- ticipant in community affairs during his entire life time.

The late Mr. MacKenzie is survived by his widow, the former Gertrude Kneebone; four daughter. Isabeli (Mrs. Harold King, Lower Montague). nnie ( rs. William Gilson, Northhampton, N.H.): (Mrs. Albert Ellsworth, Lower Montague): Mary (Mrs. Lloyd Cann, Northam, P.E.I. and four sons, Alfred. Roderick.
