C. Following the Public Health Convention. Dr. and Mrs. Keeping will visit friends and rela- tives in Victoria. B. C. They plan to return via Prince Rupert to Edmonton, and from there proceed to Dawson Creek and Ibrt Si. John to visit the doctor's brother who located there some years ago. They expect to return about the middle of June.

Of course. in these mechanized days. when we have only to punch a button to have all our needs supplied. a wife is not the necessity that she used to be when a man had to have some woman to cook his food and darn his socks and wash his shirts. Bachelors can hire trained nurses to care for them if they get sick. They can have the companionship of pretty and fascinating women for the asking. They can live the life of Riley without having to pay a wife's bills, or stand for her baoktalk,
