Mr. Jones recently sold Tony Harvester 2.09 1-4 to_the New Glas- gow Driving Club where he will join Johnny MacMillarfs stable along with Dudey Patch 2.00 1-4, Hal Britton 2.09 3-4 and Bing Crosby 2.07 1-2. Tony Harvester is eligible to the 2.24 pace. He took part. in three races last yes; but did not win s, heat or race. The previous year he was one of the busiest pacers in Canada, taking part in 19 races acquiring his record, win- hing a heat or race in six starts and was charged wliu winnings of $592.78. The past season he increas- ed this to $663.00. Evidently Tony has not been a very profitable rac- ing investment over a two-year period, but he rnust be a. horse of considerable class to have raced in 2.00 1-4 over an Ontario track. We hope he will prove really good for his new owners who are a very fine bunch of men.

A team composed of members of the Royal Canadian Air Force station- ed at sumrnerslde will meet the Charlottetown I-ll-Y Grads team and at the same time. 8 pm.. the Charlottetown Y's Men's Club will play a team against one con- sisting of the officers of the Royal Cignadian Alr Force at Summer- s e.

The airmen at Summerslde ls- sued the challenge for this bow- ling match which was promptly accepted by the local teams.

Interest n these games is at a high pitch and both teams are out to prove their superiority over their opponents. The match is a. culmination to many hours spent in the alleys at Summerside and Charlottetown during the long winter months
