I cup well-beat- en tart jelly or jaml Mix and sift flour . baking powder and salt. Beat egg volks until thick and lem- oncolored then gradually bent in sugar, then water and lemon juice and rind. hold in half of the whites which are beaten stiff but not dry. Sift about 3 tablespoons at a time of the flcur mixture over the egg mixture anc. fold in until all is mixed, then fold in remaining half 0f 62>‘: Whites.
