Mr. Charles Compton, to be a Commissioner of the Court for the recovery of Small Debts for St. Eleanor’s, in the place of William Beairsto, Esquire, resigned.

ROAD COMPENSATION ACT... PUBLIC NOTICE.

IIEREAS a Commission has been issued, directed to the undersigned, whereby we are commanded to estimate the damage or advantage that will accrue to certain parties through whose land a. NEW ROAD is intended to pass, leading from Alley’e Mill, at the head of Cardigan River, to the New Bridge across said River, on Township No. 53.

Now we do hereby give notice to all the parties concerned, that we will attend at Allcy’s Mill, on MONDAY, the 17th day of I)cccm‘;er next, at 11 o’clock in the forcnoon, and proceed thence along the said intended line of road then and there to execute the said commission according to law.
