she has spent the pa st few weeks. Mrs. Daniel McDonald was

rushed to Souris Hospital where she underwent an emergency ap- pendectomy. Mrs. McDonald was formerly .of East Baltic, and her many friends are pleased to hear of her continued improvement.

Mostly all the farming has been completed in these parts. and ev- erything looks pretty nice especi- ally from the air. a View that all too few know how beauti- ful their little Isle really is. with its squares like a patchwork quilt of red and green. dotted here and there with its different lakes and streams. with its red road; like paths. going here and there.

Having finished their morning chores. 27 members of the Sussex Holstein Club chartered a plane at Moncton and flew to the Island yesterday morning, arriving in Charlottetown at 8:30. They were greeted at the airport by a group of local Holstein breeders, who were hosts for the day.
