A copy of Transcript of Marks is required for most companies, therefore request for same should be made to the Registrar’s office as soon as possible.

CAREERS WITH GOVERNMENT OF CANADA

Careers Public Service Canada book and application forms are available at this Office in Main Building. Deadline for application is Nov. 1, 1985. (Except for AUA which is Sept. 30). Students who select Fl, Financial Administration, as one of their career areas must write the F1 test, which will be held on Thursday, November 7th, 1985, at 7:00 p.m. in Kelley 211.

October is one of the busiest months of the year for ﬁnancial aid. Below I have listed the undergraduate bursary, scholarship deadlines for the coming month. Next week’s column will be solely dedicated to financial aid for graduate studies. Those of you who are interested in graduate school for fall 1986 should'be looking into bursary and scholarship programs now.

Some highlights to look forward to in the coming weeks from the world of ﬁnancial aid are information on student loans and loan appeals, how to manage/budget your ﬁnances and the weekly (scholarship, bursary update and deadline notices.

(1)- P.E.I. COUNCIL OF WOMEN BURSARY This bursary is open to full~time mature female students. This bursary is valued at $100.00 and is based on need. DEADLINE: September 27, 1.985 -

(2) P.E.I. TEACHER’S FEDERATION SCHOLARSHIP This scholarship is open .to senior students (with high marks) who are dependents 'of teachers. The scholarship is valued at $1,000.00.

(3) FREIDA CREELMAN MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP This scholarship is awarded to a female student in the creative arts — music, art, drama or writing who demonstrates both ability and need' for assistance. The scholarship is valued at $300.00: ~ - ' ‘ DEADLINE: October 15, 1985 '

(4) ST. AN DREW’S SOCIETY BURSARY
