A. During the 1928 navigation ses- son the port of Montreal scored a new high record in the amount of grain handled. Of this huge amount 215309-536 bus. wen; received at the elevators and 210,623,547 bushels were delivered. During the season 1.607 ocean-going ships docked in Mon- treal harbour with a net registered tonnage of 5,492,972 tons, compared with 1,231 ships in 192'! of 4,252,000 registered tons. The value of the grain shipped in 1920 is $250,000,000 while the total value of all commerce that passed through the port had a value of $l,000,000,000. Sixty years ago the total tonnage of ships that docked in the harbour of Montreal was less than 200,000 tons.

Members of the Charlottetown Yacht Club are getting their boars in readiness for the summer and it is expected that their white wings will shortly dot the harbour.
