WASHINCYION (AP)-American air power in Europe will be in- creased under a plan announced Tuesday to rotate tactical air force

ii . units for temporary tours of duty on the Continent.

The program. starting in the next few weeks, will send squadrons of United States air force fighter- bombers. which are used for the support of ground forces. and troop- carrier units overseas under A schedule similar to that which has been in use for several years by the strategic air command'A force of long-riuige bombers.

Bringing greetings from the Na- tional Council staff, Mr. Mcvicar congratulated the local.Associa- iion on showing the way to other Associations in the Maritlmes and across Canada in the matter of

providing adequate facilities for youth services. The 'Y' had pioneered or sup-

ported many worthwhile activities in Canada. including Boy Scout- ing, Tuxis. Trail Rangers, organiz- ed camping, swimming, life-saving and physical fitness programs. standards and methods. and there was need to continue and extend this spirit, stated Mr. Mcvicar. A new Moderator will elected at the General Council which is the supreme governing body of the Church.
