‘Kremlin Has Strong Blast. For Peking

MOSCOW (AP)—The Kremlis issued its strongest attack on China in months Sunday after two new Soviet efforts to im- prove relations nored by Peking.

What irked Moscow was the Chinese government’s use of Li Tsung'- jen, a former acting president of Nationalist China, for a propaganda offensive against the Soviet Union.

Pravda, organ of the Soviet Communist party, was critical of a press Id held a week before in Peking. Li’s defection was announced by Pe king July 20. He had been liv ing in the United States since 1950 and Peking made the most lof his defection.

The Chinese government brought in foreign correspond- ents from Hong Kong for Li’s press conference. Americans were not ifvited. ©
