£500 R ld \VA RI). lIEltEAS I have received information that on the night of SATURDAY, the 27th MAY last, a Barn and Stable, OfJOllN ARCHIBALD l‘lCDONALD, ESQUIRE, situate at GLICNALAUALE, on Township Number 36, were cousmnan nv FIRE, and that there is

strong reason to believe that the said buildings were wilfully and '

feloniously set on fire by some person, or persons, at present

undiscovered.

Now, therefore, in order to the discovery and punishment of the party, or parties, guilty of the aforesaid felonious offence, I have thought fit, by and with the advice and consent of Her Majesty’s Council, to proclaim, and I do hereby proclaim and offer a reward of

FIVE HUNDRED POUNDS,

to any person, or persons, not the actual party to the act, who will give such information and evidence as will lead to the discovery, apprehension and conviction of the offender, or offenders.

Given under my hand and the great Seal of this Island, at Charlottetown, in the said Island, this Sixth day of June; A.D., 1865, and in the Twenty-eighth year of Her Majesty's reign.
