By the Island Statute of (it) George the Third, cap. 3, any persons harbouring, concealing or assisting any Deseiter t'roin Her Majesty‘s Army, is also liable to a penalty of Twme Pounds.

Any Sherili' or his Deputy, and any Constable, or Ollieer or soldier in Her Majesty's service, are by the same Act authorised to apprehend any person suspected to be a Desertcr, and take him bctore a Justice of the Peace.

FIVE POUNDS REWARD is by the same Act payable for the Apprehension of any such Deser- ters.
