| THE FORESTERS.

Meetirg of High Court at Alberton.

| The 5th annual session of the High Court of Foresters was held in Alberton oo Thursday. 4 special trainin charge of Conductor Cox left the city at 9 o’closk, arriving at | Alberton about 3 30, with about 15 dele- gates and representatives from the differs ent courts throughout the Island. The delegates were received at the station by a committee from Court Ooward, who had all arrangements completed for the ac- commodation of the visitors, in which it was quite evident the good people of Alberton had heartily j ined.

The first eeasion of the High Court was called to order at 4 o’clock by the High Chiet Ranger, F. S Jost, and almost eve y officer was at hisstation. After the open- ing ceremonies, 64 delegates received the High Court Degree ani took their seats. I'he reports of the High Chief Ranger, Secretary and Treasurer were presented and showed that the order on the Island is ina flourishing conditioe.

During the year four strong Courts have been instituted, and over 300 new mem~ bers added to the roll. On the let day of

Jniy last there were 1,303 beneficiary members. Queen’s County has 14 Courts with 547 members; Prince County,.12

Courts with 533 members ; King’s County, 7 Courts, with 223 members. The Treas- urer’s repert shows a balance on hand of $512 16
