Two of the P2-ovince's best known organizations. Leo Lam- oureux's "Islanders" Hockey Club. and Don Messer's "Islanders" orchestra. will be the feature at- traction at the Forum tonight at the ma.mi'noth moccasin dance.

Midway through the pro- gramme. time out will be taken to present each member of the Is- lander's club with a sports jacket, as a memento of their 1951 winter with the local organization. waiting for, the setting of the dates for the Maritime Major Hoc- key League fina-ls between Island- ers and I-lavlifax Saint Mary's was released here yesterday afternoon by local officials. The big dates are set for here on Saturday night and Monday. and at Halifax on Wednesday and Saturday for the first four con-tests. Island playoff championship hockey competition scheduled for tonight under the Department of Physical Fitness will see the Charlottetown Abbie: and the Bedeque-Freetown squads clash to- night at Bedeque rink at 8:15 in the first of a home and home series for the Island Juvenile championship and the Garnhum trophy. while the semi-final round for the Island Interscholastic girls hockey title will get underway at Georgetown against the high school girls of that centre. It will be the first of a home and home series. with the Winners meeting the Summerside St. Mary's Aca- demy glrls in the finals for the Physical Fitness trophy.

The final game of the Island Boy Scout hockey playdowna will also take place tonight at O'Leary when the Charlottetown Trinity team take on the O'Leary troop for the Provincial Boy Scout As- sociation troplly. Trinity hold a one game edge on the series to far. having won the opening con- test 6-3.

Mr. Holman stressed that this was only a suggestion and that he was greatly impressed with the valuable publicity that the Club had brought to the Province during the winter.

Mayor MacDonald was very pleased about the Summeraide Company's contribution. and with the letter which Mr. Holman had taken the trouble to write. The Mayor remarked that he-liked the neighborly spirit in which the donation was given. and also the sentiment of the letter.
