The Mature and Part-Time University Students Associa- tion (MAPUS) was ofﬁcially organized in 1982 to provide an established framework for liaison with the University Community, and to ensure that Part-Time and Older Than Average Full-Time Stu- dents are an integral and acknowledged part of the University of Prince Edward Island.
