TIIE management of tho Newspaper which, for the last 30 ears, has been successfully conducted by J. D. AszAnn, I‘) ., is now trans- ferred to the Subscriber, who wi lnssume all the responsibilities thereof alter the publication of the present number.

The circulation of Ha.r:urd'.r Ga.-.rIIc is, at pre- sent, and has always been, greater than that of any other newspaper in this Colony; and—— availing himself of some of the greatest recent im vements which have been made in the art andnioaehinery of the l’rintcr,——ita new pro- prietor snd publisher hopes he shall be able still to secure lbr it the llrst place in the public estimation.

To this end, he has, at It considerable outlay,

purchased a Powan Pass; and, on lris'rrcmisr-s, made the alterations and additions w rich were ‘requisite for its proper erection. About the beginning of February, he expects to have it in perfect world order; and—that being accom- plished-—he w l, afterwards, issue Iluszard'.r Gazelle TWICE a week, of e same size as that in which it is at present publisbc(l, and, to Subscribers, at the same price.
