The hockey Panthers scored another convincing win against the Mount Allison Mounties last Friday night in Sackville. The Panthers won the game 7 - 3; Max Mazur scored two goals. Mazur seems to be more offensively oriented this season. He used his size to get to the net behind other teams’ defense; his physique makes it difficult for Opposing players to move him. This year marks the end of anera for hockey card collectors. O- Pee-Chee has decided to Stop including gum with its cards. When we were kids, my brother and I collected cards for two reasons: for the fun of it, and because the gum was so good. Card collecting back then was just for fun; this is why my Ray Bourque rookie card has a tack-hole through his head. Because of expensive sets and fancy cards like Upper Deck and Score, O.P.C. cannot afford to lose customers because of the gum stains on Joe Sakic’s rookie card. Card collection has moved into new times. Sigh. Now if only O.P.C:could do something about the wax stains.
