S. S. Hillsboro Com- pletely Overhauled

The S. S, Hlllsborn has resumed service on the Charlottetown-Rocky Point ferry after having been thoroughly overhauled and repair- ed under the ‘expert supervision of ‘Mir. Duncan Mcbaren, Cardigan. This is the fourth overhaul the vessel has undergone "and never before has the work been so effic- iently and expeditiously carried through. The last ccasion was in i920 under the Bell government when the work was not completed until the first of June. This year the work commenced in March when she was completely overhaul. ed and cauiked both bottom and top sides, new planking put in. a number of new knees. several plac- es of shoe and keel and fender were provided together with a com plots new sot of Dilddl "319915- The bottom was scraped and complete- ly covered with copper while new hard sheathing was put all round at the water line to protect her from the ice. The steamer was launched last week, the first time without any trouble. The Public Works Department deserves credit for the most satisfactory manner
