An increase in entries over last year was shown: at a meeting of the executive or the Provincial Drama Festival, held in Charlotte- town on April 10.
The President. Mr. Daniel Mac- Donald oi St. Peter's. was in the chair. and reports were heard irom the various cmmittees on ar- rangements being made ior the play-ofis. and the finals which will be held the last week or May. Miss Jessie Fraser. Summerslde, secretary-treasurer. read the list oi entries which showed six three act plays and seven one-act in the senior play-oils, and a possible iour plays in the Junior competi- tion.
