We are looking for a box office manager for our production of Mister Pickwick. No experience is needed, although experience is always welcome. We can give you no money, but we do promise lots of worthwhile experience and a great cast party. The play runs from March 10 to 13. The Queen’s County local of the P.E.I. Association for Community Living is searching for volunteers. P.E.I. Association for Community Living is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing services to people with a mental handicap within the community. 1994 is full of exciting opportunities. This year, 4-H members are given a chance to apply for one $390 and three $1000 scholarships. This financial assistance will be awarded to the 4-H'ers who meet the criteria. Ata time when education is quickly becoming essential and the expenses for education are increasing, it is great to have offered this assistance.

Health Fair at UPEIl
The School of Nursing at the University of Prince Edward Island will be mounting a health fair at the University March 8, 9 and 10 at the Primarily directed at the campus community in general, the fair will promote healthy living and point out the many resources available on campus and off to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

resources available to them to raise their level of health,” says faculty member Rosemary Herbert. “We hope we can convince them to adopt a more healthy lifestyle at this early stage of their lives because many illnesses are chronic and lifestyle related.”
Currently, first year nursing students at the University are conducting health assessments among the student population. Topics suchas nutrition, physical activity, family relationships and stress situations are investigated and, together with the student, a plan is developed to promote a more healthy lifestyle for the individual.
In addition to the School of Nursing, a number of other departments at UPEI will be Participating in the health fair. Home Economics will set up a booth on healthy nutrition; Student Services will provide information on stress Management and spiritual health with both university chaplains in attendance; the PEI Lung Association will set up an interactive display; and the Athletics Department are planning an active living display. The School of Nursing will also provide information on protection from sexually transmitted diseases and sexual well-being generally.
On the final day of the health fair, Thursday, March 10, a number of door prizes, provided by local businesses, will be drawn for and awarded to lucky fair-goers.

Women and Body Image
Public Lecture and Art Show The UPEI Women’s Centre is sponsoring a public lecture and art show focusing on the theme of women's body images, entitled “More Than Skin Deep”: Exploring Women's Relationships With Their Bodies. The guest speaker for the public lecture will be Carla Rice, Body Image Consultant with Women's College Hospital in Toronto. Ms. Rice is the former Coordinator of the National Eating Disorder Information Centre, the National Organizer for Eating Disorder Awareness Week, and a founding member of Hersize: A Weight Prejudice Action Group. She has written a number of resources and articles on diagnostic labelling, the connections between body image problems and childhood trauma, weight issues as coping strategies, and the social context of women’s struggles around their bodies. She holds a BA from Harvard University and a Masters degree in Applied Psychology from the University of Toronto.
