- The final performance of tha ras- non Play, witnessed b)’ another 0GP‘ acity audience at the Forum last night, closed one of the most suc- cessful engagements of its North American tour. Yesterday's matinee was attended by over twelve hun- dred school children, and a large number of adults.

Mr. J. 1-l. Weber, business uian~ ager and musical director of the Passion Play, in an interview last night, spoke in glowing terms of the wonderful reception accorded the sacred drama in Charlottetown. He also euiogized at considerable length over the whole-hearted co- operation and all-round enthusiasm manifested by the local Gyro Club, under whose auspices this famous play was staged here. Mr. Weber added that Oharlotwtown and Prince Edward Island in general of all the places in the Canadian tour. showed a total attendance, twenty percent larger than any other. This speaks well of this Province in view of the fact that only four perform- ances were given, while in cities much larger, as many as eleven per- formances were given.
