their finest rock n’ roll (‘‘Rocks Off’’, ‘‘Rip This Joint’’, ‘‘Happy’’, ‘‘TumbIng Dice’’, etc.). The Stones at their most human. The sound of The World’s Greatest Rock n’ Roll Band.

So the Rolling Stones were never poetic geniuses but they managed moments of bleary eyed insight and poetic inspiration. They were never that great of players, yet they made some of the best rockn’ roll ever. And they weren’t very pretty but they became the world’s most popular band. So if you like Aerosmith or the Black Crowes, or even Steel Wheels or, worse yet, Flashpoint, check this stuff out because i? 11 knock your socks off. :

their Satanic Majesties Request- I had atoughtime jicking the fifth one, but I think this one fits the bill. Jot everything here is awful (actually, I love a few of he moments here), but too often it’s unlistenable.

Movie Review

LATE FOR DINNER BY SHELLY STEWART

Alright -- here’s the situation:

The two main charactersiare being swindled by a totally unlikeable tycoon. They go to meet with the hateful man but find that'he is evil incarnate and will not give the guys a break. They then proceed to go back home but all heck breaks loose because the slow- witted hero takes the bad guy’s son home as a pet -- don’task, just see the movie, okay? Anyways, the smart hero tries to explain the mix up to Mr. Bad Guy, but he will not listen and proceeds to charge them with kidnapping. At the confronation scene with Mr. evil, gun shots are fired and the two good guys think that they will be charged with murder. They then go (as if you didn’t guess) on the run.

This is where the original twist comes in. As you may have seen on the commercials, the two goodfelloas are put on ice for thirty-odd years. The rest of the story takes place in 1991 after the two icebods are melted back to life by a convenient acci- dent.

‘“Late to Dinner’’ isa good movie, but it could have been an excellent one. I mean, it definately had potential. There are a few touching parts to the show and the characters are likealbe, but it leaves too many

unanswered questions and the characters are iron board flat.

The storyline is too easy. It is as if the writers found themselves stoned on caffine halfway through the script, so they decided to leave out anything that would complicate things. ‘‘Late for Dinner’’ hasa few endearing parts to it, but the short lengh of the film leaves you wanting for more as the final credits roll across the screen.
