Each pupil received a treat of candy and nuts from the teacher and fruit from the Women's In- stitute.

There was a sale of candy and drinks during intermission from which. together with door re- ceipts. a neat sum was realized tor school purposes.

The many parents and visitors present showed their appreciation of the performance staged by pupils by their kccn attention and applause. and a very successful entertainment was brought to a close by singing "God Save the King."

WASHINGTON, Dec. 23 -- (AP) - The Otiico oi Price stabilisa- tion today approved an increase 014.8910 per cent in ceiling prices

at Hudson passenger automobiles.

The increase was the first al- lowed in the automobile ' i t ,1 under an amendment to the econ- oniic controls law. This allows manufacturers to add cost in- creases to pre-Korean prices to de- sermine new ceilings.

Most auto makers except Chry- sic-r have made applications for ceiling increases. General Motors filed one shortly betore the action was announced in the case or Hud- son.

The percentage increase allow- ed Hudson was what it had asked.

It was estimated that the boost would range from 390 to 3145 on Hudson cars.

General Motors asked rises rang- 5l'-S from 860 on the best-selling Chevrolet to 3103 on the best-sell- ma Cadillac.
