ax Cases Adjourned In City Court

| Two Parkdale, residents charg- jed with carrying on _ transient work within the limits of Char- lottetown without first paying the non-resident tax had their cases adjourned until Wednesday mor- ning when they appeared in City Police Court yesterday morning.

A city man of no fixed address appearing on a charge of vagr- ancy was given a 10-day suspend- éd sentence. A similar sentence was drawn by a city man charged with being drunk and incapable.

Three other persons appeared on charges of being drunk and incapable. One Southport resident 'was fined $10 and costs or five days and another was fined $5 and costs or two days .A city man was remanded until this mor- ning.

Failure to stop at a red traffic light cost an East Royalty resi- dent $10 and costs or five days.

Magistrate K. M. Martin also presided at Saturday's session in which a West Royalty man plead- ing guilty to a’charge of driv-

Mrs. Roger Fink of Halifax will be adjudicator of the danc- ing classes at the annual Music Festival in Charlottetown and Summerside. For Mrs. Fink, wife of Commander Fink of the Royal Canadian Navy, this will mark a return engagement as a festival adjudicator. First Tanker Docks In City

The oil carrying vessel will un- load, 1,900,000 gallons of bunker oil, stove oil and diesel fuel and is expected to return to Halifax this evening. The ship will short- ly return to Charlottetown after loading at Halifax.

Captain Kent, the ship's mas- ter, said he came by way of Canso Strait, and saw only little ice on the way. He spotted num- erous seals on several strips of ice off Point Prim.

Lobster Trap Delay Is Seen

CORNER BROOK, Nfld. (CP) — A spokesman for Dunphy’s Limited, whose lobster fishing operations extend along 300 miles of Newfoundland’s west coast, said Monday heavy ice may de- lay the setting .out of lobster traps 10 days. The season offi- cially opened Monday.
