The Northumberland got to Pictou yesterday at 3 o’clock. She left there this morping at 5.30, and arrived bere at 9.45. The captain reports that there is a large amount of ice in the straits, but it is scattered. She brought over 19 cars of freight (about 45 cars still remain in Pictou) and ten or twelve passengers. The ice blockade at Summerside broke up ves- treday, and she will protably Jeave for there this afternoon, if aot she will go to~ morrow morning.
