until 12 o’clock. noon, on FRIDAY, the 31st day

of December. inst., from any person or persons, being

willing to contract to supply Prince County Jail. at

St. Eleanor’s, and King’s County Jail, at Georgetown,

severally. from the lst. day of January. 1870, to the 3lst

day of December, 1870, inclusive. with the following

articles, the same to be delivered at each Jail, respect-

ively, at the cost of the contractor. and in such quantity

or quantities as shall, from time to time. be demanded or required, viz :—

Hard and Soft Bread, Molasses. Oatmeal, Seal Oil

and Cord Wood. All these articles are required to he ofthe best quality.

The wood to be four feet long, and to be piled in the respective Jail Yards, six feet high, at the expense of the contractor,and to consist of Black and Yellow Birch, Beech and Maple. No crooked or rotten wood will be taken.

Tenders must express the price per pound, gallon and cord, in the currency of this Island, and be accompanied by the names of two sufﬁcient securities for the perform- au as of the Contract.

NOTICE is hereby given to the Stockholders in this Bank, who are now in arrear for the payment of any Instalment. Balance. or portion of the last third part of the Capital Stock of said Bank, (which by the Act of the 3lst Victoria, Chapter 17, intituled “ An Act to amend the Act incorporating the Summerside Bank.” was required to be made on or before the lst day of January, 1869, but in respect to which the payment has been further extended by the Act of the 32nd Victoria. Chapter 23, intituled " An Act in further amendment of the Act incorporating the Summerside Bank”) that the respective balances or some due by them on their shares in said Capital Stock, is now hereby ﬁnally called for, and payment thereofis required to be made to the Cashier at the Banking House of the said Bank in Sum- merside. on or before the thirtieth day of December next; and in default of such payment, an order will be made for the sale at the shares of such defaulting Stock- holders, pursuant to the Statute in that case provided, and the By-laws of said Bank.
