Now, let. us see what. the moral element. in the fourth commandment. ls. “Ile- member the Sabbath Day to keep it. holy.” To keep the Sabbath within the meaning of the word holy is to say that it. is set. apart—that, Is. it. is set, apart. from all the other days. God claims it. as His own time, which time no man has a right to use only as God directs. The directions Are. “The seventh is the rest. of the Lord thy God; in it thou shalt not. do any work." This is not. only true of man, but. it is true of cattle. so that. all have u divinely ordered moral right in this rest. It Is the moml qunlity of the Sabbath that prohibits all kinds of labor.

I have been speakintr thus far so that you may fully understand the grounds on which the Church rests the origin and authority of the Lord's Buy. and what. is taught concerning it. In the Churches at. the present. time. This much being clear let us be sure thin. we have an uccurntc conception of what. morui law is. for to my mind everything depends on thir.
