OTTAWA (CP) — Crop pros- pects remain generally good in the Maritime provinces al- though dull and showery weather with too much moisture has been reported in some parts of Nova Scotia. the bureau of statistics reported Wednesday. Prince Edward Island reports all crops growing well although late-planted ones are slow in developing. haying has begun in the west and ripening and harvesting of forage crops and strawberries have been slowed by rain in the central and eastern parts. oisture conditions are coming serious in the extreme eastern part of Nova Scotia Recent heavy rain has helped New Brunswick. where crop growth is generally good and haying has begun.
